Don't feel too bad if you hadn't heard last years news of Eric Goulden and Amy Rigby's marriage. Not many people did. Just make sure you don't miss out on their new album, Wreckless Eric and Amy Rigby, or the chance to check the duet on tour.
Wreckless Eric of the original UK 1976-'78 Stiff Records crew has teamed up with his new wife, American pop-country-folk artists Amy Rigby, on the duo's self-titled debut of mostly originals, Wreckless Eric and Amy Rigby. Along with the album (released on the revitalised Stiff Record label), newlywed duo Eric & Amy are hitting the pavement on an extensive tour across the US and Europe.
Together, Eric and Amy play lovably unassuming pop, mixing electric and acoustic guitars, keyboards, and raw harmonies throughout the album, featuring a slew of gems including Eric's drunken stomp "The Downside of Being a Fuck-Up," and Rigby's charming "Astrovan".
