Adidas and Star Wars are two brands that always manage to stay hot. These two brands have hooked up again in the Adidas Originals label for a fresh fall/winter 2011 collection.
For this fall/winter 2011 cookbook we find a number of the iconic star wars characters in everyday human situations such as Darth Vader as school crossing guard and Wampa as a landscaper. The focus and design theme were on the early half of Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, where the Rebels attempted to hold back the advancing Imperial forces unsuccessfully on the frozen planet of Hoth. Militarism silhouettes also took a major role in collection, with M65 Field Jacket and bomber-esque Flight Jacket as the apparel line’s cornerstones. This collection also includes footwear such as the Forum Mid, Campus 80s, and Stan Smith 80, all taking on transformations as characters in the movie, from the Campus 80s Wampa to the Stan Smith 80s Mid Vader.
No word yet on when or where this collection will be available but hopefully it won't be a long time ago on a planet far away.
