Recently Big Boi, the always fresh Outkast MC was interviewed by Australian Website Junior Online and he dropped the info that he's already hard at work on a new record.
This new joint will be the follow up to 2010's dope record Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty. During the course of the Junior Online interview, Big Boi dropped the news that he's completed 17 songs for the album, tentatively titled Daddy Fat Sax: Soul Funk Crusader and includes such guests as Janelle MonĂ¡e.
Big Boi told Junior Online, "It's going to be S-A-X-X-X triple unadulterated funk to the extremest level. Straight lyrical assassin, and the beats are going to be as hard hitting as always. I'mma let everything else be a surprise, and just let it speak for itself."
We'll keep an eye out for this record in hopes that it drops sooner than later. For now we can catch Big Boi on the road at such events as the Outside Lands Music Festival in San Francisco.
