It seems like not very long ago Neutral Milk Hotel was a dead entity and lead singer and lyricist Jeff Mangum was largely nowhere to be found. Now magnum is back and doing shows and it seems that Neutral Milk Hotel is also being revived.
On November 22 Mangum will release a vinyl-only box set that holds everything that Neutral Milk Hotel did during their career including fifteen previously unreleased tracks. The set includes 1996's On Avery Island and 1998's In the Aeroplane Over the Sea, the Everything Is EP, an EP comprised of unreleased material, Ferris Wheel on Fire, a picture disk 7" for "Holland, 1945", a 7" featuring two unreleased songs, "You've Passed" & "Where You'll Find Me Now", a 7" that includes unreleased and live versions of the song "Little Birds", and two 24" by 24" posters.
All of this exciting information's up on Neutral Milk Hotel's new website. While there you can stream the previously unreleased "Oh Sister" / "Ferris Wheel on Fire" tracks as well as find any other fresh Neutral Milk Hotel information.
