Although many people believe that KAWS is the one of the freshest artists around, even those with that high opinion may have to think twice when they check out KAWS's new collaboration with Supreme Skateboards.
In this current collaboration between KAWS and Supreme it seems all KAWS has done is hand draw the Supreme box logo. This logo was not even done in the style of the work that he's done for his own Original Fake clothing line and for clients like Colette. It doesn't even come close. This collaboration seems designed to reach out and grab the fans that are only interested in grabbing a piece of a name and not a dope design.
This is not a dis to any legitimate fans of KAWS or Supreme, but how a real fan of art could look at this and see it as a true KAWS work of art is beyond me. Maybe this is all an April Fools joke as these products are slated for an April 1st release!
